Book update
I thought I should probably post an update about the book. If you didn’t know, it’s a follow up to the documentary and it’s going to include interviews and portraits of people involved in the music scene. Some of those involved are from the original film, along with lots of new people. After a long time of not focussing enough on this, I’ve been able to make significant progress over the last few months and all of the interviewees have now been sent their text and photos for checking and approval. I’ve had 27 back so far (out of 33) which means the majority of the content is almost ready to be laid out for print.
I’m also in the process of finding a place to get it self-published, while trying to keep costs down so it is as affordable as possible. I’m not looking to make a profit but I need to break even, so if you would like to contribute to the printing costs, please feel free to donate to my ko-fi. Once I’m closer to getting the physical copies, I’ll also be opening pre-orders for the first edition. The aim is still to get this released before the end of the year so please keep an eye out for more news about that soon! 🙂
